  34. ECHO TBS Easy Fixed Assets is a program designed to allow you to track
  35. ECHO the Fixed Assets in your company.  The system will calculate the
  36. ECHO depreciation expense monthly for the assets that you have entered. 
  37. ECHO Depreciation methods are straight line, double declining balance,
  38. ECHO and you do have the ability to override the monthly amount.

  40. ECHO This program will work with a MDA, CGA, EGA, or VGA video card,
  41. ECHO and requires 512K of free RAM, and a printer capable of printing
  42. ECHO 132 columns.

  53. ECHO To install this product on your hard disk, first make a subdirectory
  54. ECHO with the MD command. Assuming that the subdirectory name that you
  55. ECHO will use is ASSETS, enter the following commands:

  57. ECHO     MD ASSETS                 (Make Directory ASSETS)
  58. ECHO     CD ASSETS                 (Change Directory ASSETS)
  59. ECHO     COPY A:*.*                (COPY disk in drive A:)
  60. echo     ASSET                     (Starts the Asset program)

  62. ECHO The first time that you run this program, it will created the
  63. ECHO required data files.  Please make sure that you back up these
  64. ECHO files on a regular basis. (File names end with .DAT and .K0*)
  65. echo      
  66. ECHO Remove and store the distribution disk in a safe place.
  67. ECHO Next, start the program by typing in the command ASSET. 
  68. ECHO  
  69. ECHO Help is available by pressing the F1 key at any time.  Some other
  70. ECHO keys: ESC will back up to the prior field, CTRL+ESC will terminate
  71. ECHO what you are entering, CTRL+END will delete from the cursor to
  72. ECHO the end of the line.

  82. ECHO DOS prompt.  You will need to read the Users' Manual to realize all of

  84. ECHO file called ASSET.DOC.

  86. ECHO To print the Users' Manual to the printer, first align the printer to 
  87. ECHO top of form. Log to the A: Drive by typing "A:" and Return. Then enter
  88. ECHO the command:
